What are our three principles of digital marketing?
With so many buzz words and best practices around, Digital Marketing is a vast subject which is always on the move. So to keep things simple we have engineered 3 core principles, be found, be clear and be memorable which all remain true as our favourite subject evolves.
This principles should be continually reviewed and revolve around the most important thing; your target audience. Understanding your audience and markets is fundamental to business success, without this understanding you won’t be able to engage with them, and this will only end one way, bust! So that is why they take centre stage.
Not 1 of the 3 principles is more important than the others, nor is there any particular order. In fact that’s the beauty of them, as your target audiences and markets evolve, you can adjust your principle’s strategies accordingly, giving you maximum flexibility and a proactive platform to achieve your objectives.
Each principle is further broken down into a number of subjects, for example SEO would come under ‘be found’, messaging would come under ‘be clear’ and brand would come under ‘be memorable’. In practice there are cross over’s between these subjects, for example, Social Media would come up in all three principles, but it primarily sits in ‘be found’. Use these 3 core principles with flexibility, to form a strong foundation for your understanding of Digital Marketing and how to succeed in it.
